I actually used this to slice cake. I know it says pie, but we didn't have pie. It has a nice sharp edge that didn't smash the cake. Sliced perfectly and evenly. Was also able to use it to put cake on the serving plate. Great product. Would definitely recommend.

I hadn't bought a pie server in nearly 10 years, so my old one was plastic and beginning to crack. This server is sleek, lightweight, and glides smoothly through pie slices.

The design of the pie server fits perfectly in your hand. The actual metal serving piece is a perfect size for larger pieces of pie. I had another pie server that was way too small and the pie broke up while serving. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

It's a very comfortable and sturdy pie server. I love that it has ridges on one side that are angled and this. It's definitely sharper, that helps because I can use it like a cake cutter and server. Two in one! The grip is nice and good. Doesn't feel like it's slipping like most thin pie and cake servers.

I didn't think much about pie servers until I had a Farberware one worth thinking about. The blade has just the right angle, wide enough to cradle a generous slice without it folding, and tapered enough to slide cleanly beneath even a delicate custard filling. The handle feels balanced in hand, and it transfers from pan to plate with confidence. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and presentable enough to leave on the table. A small thing done right is still a right thing. If you're serious about the food you serve, be serious about what you serve it with.

I bake a lot of cakes and pies so I thought this Faberware pie server would be much better than using an ordinary spatula or knife. Using this pie server makes the presentation of the things I bake so much more beautiful. I absolutely love it!

I received the Farberware Professional Pie Server to try for free. I'm left handed so the cutting side was awkward to use. It didn't help slice it as well as I'd hoped. The handle and weight feel okay but I was expecting better quality for a professional edition.

Conveniently enough my pie server arrived just in time to be used for a birthday celebration in my family. We had recently gotten rid of our pie/cake server because it was old and did not match our existing utensils. This pie server has a great cutting edge for both pie and cakes and the perfect flat surface for holding a decent size slice of dessert. The only drawback to the server is I wish the handle were a little more aesthetically pleasing and perhaps felt heavier and better made. Only time will tell how the server holds up to the dishwasher and use, but for now I am quite pleased.
