Farberware Professional Stainless Steel Wire Potato Masher

I received this product for free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. This potato masher completely won me over. We usually buy the pre-made refrigerated mashed potatoes for convenience, but we had some fresh red potatoes on hand and put this tool to the test. My husband prepped and boiled the potatoes, and then it was my turn to test out the tool. ​ Right out of the box, you can tell this is a high-quality, heavy-duty utensil. It has a nice weight to it that makes it feel substantial and durable, yet it fits comfortably in the hand and is incredibly easy to work with. I made rustic, skin-on mashed red potatoes, and even using it one-handed (due to holding the phone in the other hand to take photos - my husband was not home for this part of testing), it did a wonderful job breaking them down effortlessly without straining my wrist. ​Clean-up was a breeze too, which is always a huge plus. This Farberware potato masher did such an excellent job on these potatoes that it has already earned a permanent spot in my kitchen drawer for the times we want real, homemade mashed potatoes. Highly recommend!

Thank you Farberware for the free Professional Masher!! I used the masher by mashing boiled potatoes and mashing beans. My family isn't a fan of beans, but they need to protein and fiber in their diets. It worked wonderfully for me to mash them up and hide them in our soup. The plastic handle stayed perfectly cool when mashing hot potatoes and beans. I like that it is made of stainless steel so there was no bending when using pressure. One of my favorite parts of this masher is that it is dishwasher safe, so clean up was easy. I would buy this product and I would recommend it to my friends and family!

The masher with its easy to grip handle and durable wire head made it quick and easy to get smooth and creamy potatoes. This product will be part of my kitchen tools. I recommend to everyone.

I received this in exchange for an honest review. This is a solid masher. I love that the base is steel since I think it feels more solid and does a good job. Allows you to put some pressure on the tool if you need to. The handle part is plastic and does feel plastic. That's my only con. It doesn't feel quite as nice or "lux" but it's fine for everyone function. The steel makes it easy to clean and the plastic keeps the handle from getting hot. Happy with it.

I really enjoyed using the FARBERWARE PROFESSIONAL MASHER STAINLESS STEEL WIRE HEAD BLACK. I used it one morning to make banana pancakes. I used it to mash the bananas before I added it to the mix and then mixed it in the batter also using th masher. It works great. It didn't tire out my hand and the grip wasnt as hard as ones I have used in the past. I received this masher from a promotion from buzz agent and lue of giving an honest opinion.

I don't always like super finely mashed potatoes, so this helps getting the great homemade homestyle perfect potato consistency! 10/10 would buy again!

I was sent the farberware stainless steel potato masher , I found it to be easily gripped which is great. It works effortlessly and is sturdy. Perfect for making mashed potatoes. Although I find the electric blender to be easier to use this is a great substitute and less mess.

I have other mashers I have used, and this one is by far easier to use. The curved head of the masher makes it smoother when mashing potatoes. I honestly adore this masher! It's got such a great wide handle -which means my hand and arms don't hurt or get tired when I use it!! Talk about a life saver. I donated my old one right away (That handle was like holding a thin pencil.) This FARBERWARE PROFESSIONAL MASHER STAINLESS STEEL WIRE HEAD BLACK, makes making dinner a breeze. I was able to cut the time i was in the kitchen because not only was the handle comfortable to use, but the metal masher part itself was nice and wide. It was even a breeze to clean and you would think it takes up extra space in the drawer, but it doesn't. I honestly recommend this product, and use it happily every chance I get!

I was provided this item in exchange for an honest review. I have years of cooking experience and have spent 20 years working in different food preparation and service positions. I'm typically anti single use kitchen tools and I tend to purchase items with multiple functions. This masher tool works well, however. It does a good job of giving smooth potatoes without a ton of lumps. My biggest complaint is that the size/shape prevents it from being stored in a drawer. It seems sturdy, it is dishwasher safe, and the handle is a nice size to grip. As an older person who is getting arthritis in their hands, I do prefer a larger or cushioned handle to make it easier to hold. Overall, this is a good basic utensil. It works as intended and is durable. I expect it to work well for a long time.
