Farberware Professional V-Blade Deluxe Foldable Easy Storage Mandolin Slicer Set

This mandolin for me is wonderful. Price is great. Works well. Blades are extremely sharp, BE Careful! Have used this mostly for making french fries, shoe strings, potato chips, onion rings, just the usual stuff you would prepare for deep fryers. Also use for slicing onions and tomatoes(should be chilled for better slice). I believe it would slice just about any vegetable perfectly. The only blade I don't use is the slicer blade for VERY thin slices, that one is too thin for me. Would recommend.

I used it yesterday to slice onions - it did a great job. My only issue is that it is larger than my last one - now I must rearrange my cupboard to find room for it. It is very very nice!!!!

It does exactly what I need it for and works as I hoped. Good value for item.

I used this mandolin to make some potato latkes and it was so easy to use! The holder takes a bit to get used to, but once you have the gist of it, it's pretty easy and fast to utilize. II would suggest using a scrub brush to clean any stuck on food and the put in the dishwasher to clean. Keeping it organized is easy with the blade storage compartment. This mandolin is different that others as it has a V blade rather than a straight blade, but this has not been an inconvenience for my use. I was gifted this product so i could give and honest review.

Super functional product at this price point. I was a little confused by the instructions on how to remove and replace the blades at first. Love the style and colors - each color provides a different cut. This would make a great wedding gift or wedding registry item.

easy to use once I figured it out.. I didn't realize the cover over the blade was for protection but that could've been cause I didn't read the instructions before hand. Now that I've used it properly I'm definitely happy with it and glad I bought it.

This is probably a mid-line product. It works fine, but I did not feel it was sturdy enough and that something would eventually break. I don't use one that often, so it will be fine for me. If it was something I would use frequently, I would invest in a higher quality product.

I returned the initial slicer because it had a crack in the plastic when I opened it. The replacement I received showed multiple small cracks after the first use. Cheap material. Spend a little more for another product.

Two screws have already come out of the mandoline. We will have to bring the machine back to Walmart today or tomorrow. We only used it for two days. I am totally unsatisfied with the quality of this product.
