Farberware Programmable Digital Pressure Cooker, 6 Quart

i was scared that it would be more complicated like my convection air fryer oven but it was surprisingly easy to use. at 4 pm i put my roast on and at 5 pm i was telling my mom and my husband to come eat. To which they both said Mary that roast can’t be done because you have to cook it for at least 4 hours. Once they were finally convinced that no it really was done we sat down to a delicious meal with the roast falling apart with a touch of your fork. It was beautiful and i can’t wait to try it on the next masterpiece

i cook most of my meals in it. i made some " baked" sweet potatoes in it and could eat the shins they was so soft. they seem to taste better than baked in the oven and half the time and no oil needed to rub the skins.. it makes soups and stews like mad and most take 10 minutes cook time.. a must have

Now I don't have to depend on canned soups! No more digging split pea or lentil soup out if a can. No more soaking beans over night. No more canned beans. I just put the lentils, split peas, or black beans with (okay) store bought bone broth and I have a perfect meal every time. I did notice that rice turns out a little watery if I use the normal two to one ratio; water to rice. I did read that water doesn't evaporate in a pressure cooker, so I guess I have to reduce the water or broth when I cook my combo black and brown rice. But unlike a smaller rice cooker I had, the rice, even if a little watery, is at least fully cooked and not hard. This is one of the best purchase decisions I have ever made. I am happy.

its perfect! my 1st one. good brand. nice big size. no electrical problems! easy to clean. detailed display screen. no lettering on display has faded or will (due to the quality). My husband made us a roast with potatoes and carrots its was slow cooked. As our first meal it came out devinely good

I bought this for a great, low price, so I wasn't sure if I'd like this instant pot. I love it! Food cooks fast %26 perfectly, even cheap cuts of meat, eggs, fish, veggies... Meal prep is extremely fast, and cleanup is such a breeze that I've cut cooking time to a fraction, and I simply select setting and move onto other things. It's a good size for a family of 4 or someone like me who meal preps for the entire week.

I bought this to disinfect my N95 masks. I can't say whether any virus particles were neutralized, but the process is very easy. Line the pot with a thick towel, place in one or several masks, run program P03 (there are no settings to change), and in 50 minutes, turn off the pot. There is no damage to the masks. I have no idea how well this works to cook food.

This is the greatest appliance i have ever had. I'm a kitchen gadget nut. My brother told me about his and I have used pressure cookers almost all my 70 years of cooking. This is by far the easiest and the food doesn't fall apart. What is nice is if it is not done to your specifications by all means use the timer to coo longer. It sears perfectly . rice is none better than in my tce cooker. Beans were also done perfectly. I love it. OH the fish is supurb. i could go on all day long about it.

This PC has a lot of room and is a good price. It comes with accessories and is easy to use. It heats up very quickly when you want to sear or sauté'. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that is does NOT come with any recipes and sometimes you have to guess which settings to use with other recipes when they say "high" or "medium", etc. Also, some PC's have a handle where you can hang the lid, but this one does not.

The "Pressure Cooker" worked fine as a pressure cooker. But if you tried to use it as a slow cooker, for say 7 hours, it started to beep and then stopped after 3-1/2 hours. It worked fine as a pressure cooker. Now after 4 months (0ne month beyond its putrid 3-month warranty) the unit fails to start for any application. Don't try to blame Farberware. It turns out that Walmart licenses the "Farberware" name and subcontracts to an unknown manufacturer. The makers of Farberware electrics disavows any connection to this unit. Look elseware. My next step is buying the InstaPot!

Can't gift this. the box came damaged as well as the pressure cooker. Has a huge dent on the side. Its so ugly. Everytime I try and upload a picture of the item, walmart says theres an error. From other reviews it seems the manufacturer is neglectful in his handling and decided to just ship them this way. Walmart should review their shopping practices with them.
