Farberware Set of 2 Odor Absorbing Splatter Screens

not as good as it use to be. Had one before,quality is gone. half a handle?? You can see the metal on one side. Splatter is more than before. Not doing it's job.

Although these splatter screens are fine for covering when you are frying, I ordered them because they were described as "odor absorbing." They are not; they are regular splatter screens.

This is not an odor absorbing splatter screen as the name suggests! It lacks the layers of charcoal that actually prevents frying odors from escaping into the room. Other buyers warned of this a long time ago but I didnt see their post until I received the item. I didnt check the reviews because I was so excited to finally find the odor absorbing screen that I had a long time ago that worked great. It was from Farberware but this is not the one! Always check the reviews/ comments.

I bought these to replace my 25 year old Farberware screens. I'd give these screens 5 stars, they're both very well made, but I was under the impression that the 2 screens were the same size, 12.99 inches wide. They are not, the size I need, the big one, is 12.99 wide, the other one is smaller, and useless to me, it's 11 inches wide. The description only gave measurements for the larger screen, that's kind of deceitful, I assumed they were the same size. The pans I use these with are 12 inch wide pans. And when I'm frying, I'm using both pans, so I needed the 2 larger screens. Guess I'll keep one of my 25 year old ones that's in so-so ok shape.

I have ordered the set of 3 Faberware ODOR ABSORBING splatter screens 3 times and each time time I received a set of 2 CLASSIC splatter screens.

I ordered these and received just regular splatter screens. Odor absobing ones typically are thick and multi-layered, with black padding between the layers. These were just a single thin layer of screen. Disappointed...

These are NOT the odor absorbing version of the Farberware splatter screens. These are plain screens. I have the odor absorbing versions and they are much different.

Incorrect picture and wrong description. This seems intentional since there is an "odor absorbing" screen made by farberware, but this isn't it. These are NOT "odor absorbing." They are plain "Farberware Classic" splatter screens.

Both splatter screens are not order absorbing and look different then on the website picture. They are just fine mesh without odor absorbing charcoal. The package also doesn't say odor absorbing. Odor absorbing splatter screen consists of two fine meshes with odor absorbing charcoal powder in between. That part is missing.

NOTHING like the description and it was NOT thick like shown. Heck the handle wasnt even the same!
