I would not purchase again to contain my enthusiastic 65 lb 1 year old Labrador puppy. It "IS" at least as long as described, and 1 continuous length, no need for any jointing. My fence posts were all 52 inches above grade expecting the fencing to be taught top to bottom expecting 48 in. Not so, more is not always better. It was higher than my posts making for a sloppy install. Description leads one to believe it is good to hold back livestock/deer but, this would only be true if they don't touch it. It does say the gauge of wire, so this is on me, and I will not contest that, but the galvanizing treatment is rusting after 3 days of dew on the grass. Expect thin brittle pieces of wire to that are tied together to break if tightly bent more than 3 times at a 90 degree angle at the same location. It's done, but, I expect it's only a matter of time before my Lab will be chasing some critter and will not have the brakes to stop. I just hope, by then, she will know where her real family is. Shorter lengths of a welded wire with smaller openings would have been stronger and would be more pleased by the finished job.
