Farmer John Smoked Bone-In Half Ham, 8.4-11 lbs

I found the farmer john smoked bone in half ham to not be all bone and fat like other brand hams I have purchased in the past. The only hone in ham I will buy from now on, will the the Farmer John's brand.

I love this ham. It is not a “funky” tasting. it is just the pure taste of a good ham. Sandwiches are great. it is what the deli calls Ham off the bone- so good!

This ham was very tasty. Did not have such a good one in years. Lots of lean meat. Very moist, although maybe a tad too much, as it contained quite a bit of liquid. But great overall.

Farmer John ham is THEE BEST, hands down, for corn chowder! For any meal, really! Flavorful, great texture, and can be used for a bunch of meals.

great ham I prefer over spiral sliced so I can carve myself nice thin slices that melt in your mouth

this was a very good ham the only thing was that it did not come pre sliced very good for pot of beans too

I cooked thisham for 2.45 min. @ 325 let stand for 10 min. the last 45 min. i put a glaze of brown sugar mustard %26 crushed pineapple it was easy to slice %26 had great taste. i always buy this ham.

The ham looked awesome before we roasted it. The broth was so red. Never seen a ham like that. Very salty and when we took it out to serve, the meat was very dark, very stringy and tough. Very different experience with this one. We had never tried this brand before and I think we will avoid in the future.

I didn't like the fact that Walmart did not have this ham because this is the one I really really wanted but it was unavailable so that's about all I can tell you about this ham because I didn't taste it see it nothing. I had to order another ham and I'm sure it's not going to taste as good as this one would have it's just Black Label heated up and eat it so I don't know. I hope I get reimbursed for this.

before I prepare the ham I always wash it to remove the sodium unfortunately that didn't help. This ham was so salty that we could not have it for dinner.
