It was perfect with my beans and corn bread. One crockpot...bag of baby butter beans...stick of butter...bag of diced ham...slice of sweet onion...baked Jiffy corn bread........That's a whole lot of heaven right there!!!! ENJOY!!!!!!
I stay stocked with diced ham in my refrigerator because it saves me time. I use it in omelets, muffins, and tortilla roll-ups. We love to combine it with pineapple tidbits for a delicious pizza topping. Easy peasy. The Farmland brand has always been fresh and tasty.
I try to always have one in fridge %26 one in freezer. Never want to run out. So versatile %26 tasty! And they go a long way. One package turns into 5 meals for a single person. Not overly salty like so many ham products are. I mix just with mayo for sandwich (on hoagie is best, with sweet pickles). Could go fancier for sure. Great mixed in when cooking scrambled eggs or omelet. Add some to canned soup to turn it into a heartier meal. Also, they are tiny diced pieces, so they make great dog training snacks. PS If the diced are out of stock, substitute with the chopped. They are bigger, but taste is still great.
I use this specific brand and cut of ham for my pasta salad. It is the perfect size package for a family of 6 and everyone loves the flavor. A staple in my house for sure
It’s great for a simple omelet. Onions, and whatever else you want! I add mushrooms, peppers hen I have them) and all kinds of veggies, but the ham makes is my mainstay!
I love this item WHEN I actually get it. Three of the last five times I've ordered it they send me a message saying it's out of stock. I strongly suggest Walmart bring back the old bits and pieces that this item replaced. It was always in stock, cheaper and more flavorful.
I bought this Farmland Diced Ham thinking, “It's ham. How exciting can it be?” Well, apparently exciting enough for me to stand in front of the fridge at 11:47 PM eating little ham cubes straight from the package like a raccoon with steady employment. Perfect size for eggs, omelets, salads, casseroles, or pretending you're “meal prepping” while really just snacking on salty pork confetti. It's already diced, which is great because I don't need one more opportunity to injure myself with a knife before breakfast. The flavor is solid, the convenience is dangerous, and the package somehow disappears faster than I'm comfortable admitting. Would absolutely buy again and continue telling myself it's “for recipes.”
🤤 This chopped ham bits is PERFECT for scalloped potatoes or added to eggs!😳 🍳 It's a little SALTY, but OVERALL it is very TASTY and comes in VERY handy being chopped up! One less prepared thing I have to do for using it for DIFFERENT meals! Also, SNACK with CHEESE chunks for kids! 👍🏼
My family loves this cubed ham, because their mother is a genius in the kitchen and can make so many different things with it. It’s great to add to your homemade macaroni and cheese, it’s awesome in creamed potatoes, I use it in my pea salad instead of bacon sometimes and it makes a delicious Ukrainian hot sandwich. Like I said it is versatile.
Even though ham is salty this ham is more than normal. I like that it comes cubed that is the main reason I buy. It's pricey, your paying for the cubed. However you can get a better tasting cubed ham and better pricing at other discounted food stores that I have been comparing prices to Walmart and WOW I don't shop at Walmart that much anymore. Even better customer service at other stores. The one stop shopping is OVER and the money you save making a few stops is worth it to me.
