[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very thankful that SCAHealth offers the Bronco Gold. The farm stores around me no longer carry it. It seems to work best on my horses although a couple of the geldings show some sensitivity if the spray soaks in spots. I use fly boots and usually spray the horses (all have free-choice shelter) 2x a day. The effectiveness of the spray wears off after a couple of hours, it seems, but still much better than others I've tried.
Great product kills flies as soon as I sprayed it but also keeps flies away
great flying tick spray for my horse.
Works very good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bronco gold fly spray is our go to when flies are bitting. Long lasting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fly spray for horses. Smells great. Works well.
This is a fantastic fly spray! I bought it for my Mini Horse and it works as a wipe or a spray. As a wipe I can carefully use it on her face. It works well and smells great! I love this product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great in our area. This is the only place I've found that sells it by the gallon at an affordable price. Will be ordering more to prepare for staying ahead of the summer and fall flies.
Unbelievable that this is still on market. Look it up. Severe reactions for years. I got complacent and did not do my research. Sprayed it on my mare and she got massive swellings in underbelly, legs and now hair loss over a week later. Required vet call (dex, Banamine, antihistamines, etc.). I was truly scared. I have had her since birth, she is now 19, and NEVER had a reaction to any other fly spray. this stuff made her miserable!! Please don't risk it. I notified retailer AND Farnam. HSUS case was opened (per Farnam - not me). I wish I had never even looked at it.
I haven't had to post a negative review in a very long time, but others deserve to know my experience with this product. Do you see the lumpy patches that others have reported? Yup! MY HORSE TOO! I applied this fly spray one day. The next day I came back and my mare had clearly had an allergic reaction to it. Her skin thickened in lumpy patches on her barrel and belly. I didn't reapply the fly spray again, and fortunately the lumps went away after about 4 days. I thought maybe this was specific to my horse, or maybe that I got a 'bad bottle' (in which case, a negative review wouldn't have been necessary.) But my vet actually stated that she'd seen a lot of horses have allergic reactions to this stuff. I'm sticking with Farnam's Tri-Tec (20 years and 3 different horses, never had an issue) or a natural spray. DON'T RISK USING THE BRONCO LINE OF FLY SPRAYS!!! Farnam can be such a good brand, but this stuff is just terrible.
