We use several products to control flies. Repel-X is the best spray repellant we have found. Our horses are comfortable all day. No swishing tails or trying to reach biting spots. Great product!

Best fly spray, hands down, for over 30 years!! Tried to save money and buy a cheaper fly spray, it didn't even repel flies for 10 min. This Repel really does what it's name says, and it works for days! Buying again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repel-X has been a reliable product in keeping flies away from the horses. Some horses are particular, however, calmly communicating their preference to not be sprayed with pesticide while not minding a non-pesticide fly spray. It is interesting to observe. All-in-all, Repel-X is a good performing fly spray.

This product works really well when I first put it on my horse, but it doesn't last very long. The smell is also very, very strong and unpleasant when being sprayed.

I wondered why this wasn't working. It only has pyrethrin, which degrades in sunlight. You need a spray combo with permethrin. Also, the label says 7:1 dilution but did not explain that for HORSE FLIES you need a 4:1 dilution.
