I was looking for a product to help reduce our fly population. SimpliFly has been a great product for my barn! Within a few months of feeding it, the amount of flies has drastically decreased. It's easy to feed and even my picky eaters have zero trouble finishing it. The best practice we have learned is to start feeding it early Spring before the flies are at their strongest. The horses are so much happier without all those annoying bugs flying around! We will be using this product every year and recommended it to all our friends!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this for all the horses for 3 years and each year we have fewer and fewer stable flies. Horse flies and deer flies will still be an issue but any fly larvae that depends on manure will definitely be reduced. A bit expensive but the barn is so much better without the flies.
I have been using the Simplify with Larvastop along with fly predators this summer and am amazed at the difference it has made in the fly population around my barn and in my pasture. Of course there are going to always be those flies that come in from neighboring properties but I have confidence that their ability to leave this world with offspring is greatly reduced once they make it to my place! Bottom line, the Simplify with larvastop may seem a bit pricey but when you figure in the cost of less fly spray it is well worth it. I purchase my fly spray by the gallon and still have the same gallon I started with in the spring and that speaks volumes with 7 equines.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flies were worse this season than usual--our vet recommended trying SimpliFly-- great price & service with Santa Cruz Animal Health--it has helped with our fly problem--and the horses eat it with no problem--great product from a great company--
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for years and it really helps. You do have to give it to all horses on the property for it to be effective, so it works great for a small barn. My horses don't seem to mind the taste and it truly minimizes fly issues with stable flies.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Simplfly for a few years now ate here I board. All the boarders use it daily and it has made a big difference in the bothersome fly population.
I was a little late in the season beginning to use SimpliFly, but it does seem to be helping with the fly population, which seems really bad this year
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for years! Start in March and go thru Oct. it really helps to keep the fly population under control.
Simplify has always been my "go to " feed through fly control! It's best to start it early or, if you're like us who live in Florida, stay on it year round. It is a big help with flies but other measures may be needed too, like a perimeter spray. . . I love the prices from Santa Cruz and of course, their free shipping !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simplifly works better than the fly predators we used previously, however we still have a lot of flies at our barn. We clean up our horses' manure twice daily and hang fly strips to lessen the amount of flies. We start Simplifly late March, before fly season, and continue through autumn. Have found no product that adequately controls flies.
