Farnsworth Nightstand, Ivory Oak

I am using this as an end table beside my couch and it is the perfect height. It was very easy to assemble. I love the color because it is neutral and goes with all decor. It is a nice end table for the price.

The nightstand is beautiful and sturdy. Unfortunately, when I received it the legs were in the same package as the metal bases. They scratched the heck out of the legs. I was quite disappointed to have gouged up legs on a new beautiful nightstand. Overall, it is lovely except for the legs. I tried t upload photos, but the link wouldn't work.

Looks very nice in the dark wood color and most of it is real wood, probably pine which is good for longevity. Assembly is what I would call medium difficulty because some screws didn’t line up perfectly and required some force. Also the knob wasn’t lined up properly work with the screw.

I love this nightstand it was on clearance for $26 bucks so I took a chance not expecting much. The wood quality is so good I mean like an expensive brand its not too low just right . The assembly was super easy took maybe 30 minutes or less. Great product great price I think they are on sale again for $50 hubby likes it so much he asked me to purchase another one for his side of the bed. As always Walmart comes through ❤️

I like everything about this product and it's ease to assemble. My only complaint is that the wooden legs were not wrapped in anything and crashed around inside the box aquiring dings and large scratches on them. The metal plates for the dresser legswere also free floating. Since they are hidden underneath, I'm the only one who knows. Other people may not be so forgiving. Wrap them in cardboard and then secure with tape.

This is a self-assembly nightstand that is well made. The pieces are pressed wood, but they’re heavy and sturdy. My husband and I have assembled many pieces of furniture over the years and we were both very impressed with the instructions that came with this nightstand - they are explicit, clear, and easy to follow. The pieces were packaged quite securely in two cardboard boxes wrapped with heavy plastic; however, two of the four “feet” were slightly scuffed, which for us, isn’t a big deal. Each category of hardware was packaged separately, so it was easy to identify the hardware needed for each step of the assembly process. We did struggle to secure the top piece to the sides of the nightstand. We had to use a ball-peen hammer to pound it into place (we put a book on top of the wood so we wouldn’t damage the surface). After several hits, the top finally went into place. This nightstand uses wooden dowels and cam locks to secure the sides and top into place. Ideally, you want the pieces to fit together snugly and securely, but without requiring special tools and brute strength to achieve this fit. The drawer assembly was easy. The drawer slides on either side are metal, so when finished, the drawer slides in and out smoothly, effortlessly, with no sticking or dragging whatsoever. The finished nightstand is solid and sturdy, with a beautiful dark wood finish. We really love it! It's a good size, large enough to hold anything needed by the bed, but small enough to easily fit into the space.

The nightstand table is nice looking. The packaging was good except for how they protected the nightstand feet. I included a picture that shows that the feet are dented and scratched by the metal foot brackets that were left loose in the same space. The manufacturer should have wrapped either the feet or the metal feet brackets in bubble wrap or some kind of protection. I decided not to put the feet on it because they were scratched and I also prefer the footless look. I can sincerely tell you that it was a pain to put together. I got frustrated since 2 of the screw holes were a little off. I broke one of the cam locks because the hole it goes in was off. Luckily they included an extra cam lock. Mind you, none of the issues were user error. I'm pretty good at putting furniture and other items together. They have a little scale that says if its easy or hard to build and for this one the arrow points to the center space between easy and hard. It should have been easier than what I went through, but the holes that were off made it a little frustrating for me. I like that it has a drawer where I can place my remotes and other little knickknacks. On the bottom shelf I will be able to store some books. It is a nice looking nightstand once it's put together. Hopefully my product was the only one with the holes that were not were they should be.

Top of night stand was scuffed up on side. Didn't realize it until I had it basically put together. Tried to call Walmart and was on hold for 45 minutes. Tried to use the (have an issue) option but it didn't give me options to select from. It wouldn't allow me to type what the issue is. It wasn't hard to put together and seem sturdy.

Overall the piece is fine. It definitely looks on the cheaper end but for the price point I wasn't expecting it to not. It was missing pre drilled holes for the drawer so I had to pre drill them myself which caused splitting. It will work for what we need but I wouldn't buy again.

Poor packaged. No way on GOD's green Earth would or does this survive the delivery trip without some damage. It just matter how much you will put up with. You have to take the whole box apart to get everything out to even inspect - at that point it is too late to be able to return. I would gladly pay for a well packaged sturdy hadr box with extra space between items in box an outside. Mine was missing lamination on some of the surfaces.
