I bought this car because I was replacing one I purchased 5 years ago. The price was great but the redesign of the chassis they cheapened it up. I bought this because it can run over my lawn no problem and was built to last, my small dogs love chasing . The suspension and motor system ran great until I got a new battery that was wired backwards and fried the power to the wheels steering still worked. So I got another one and nothing is interchangable on the new one. The tires are slightly smaller, no lights which was cool at night you could see them, the bumpers weaker too and the suspension looks like it won't last long. The only good thing is front and rear axles on this one they both propell the car. I had to re-drill the body holes on old body to fit on new chassis because why scratch up a new body especially with dogs. I was hoping I got a car like my old one. But they cheapen it up. They are fun cars and I race it around the yard with the silver charger they sold also. Never had any problems until the battery wiring mix up. But S happens. It is a very cool car to play with and two different chargers you have lots of fun with someone like my grandson. Just wish they built it like the original. I was thinking I'd replace the silver one but I'm not. Wish they kept it the same. We had many crashes and it survived all. Don't know how this new design will last. But it's definitely weaker than its predecessor. Just as fast with the turbo button. But doesn't compare. Wish I could get an older model. Anyway lots of fun but I would avoid getting to rough with it
