Great Lard! Will buy again for tamales!
Used to make pork tamales! Very easy to use. Yes, definitely on the expensive side, but you get what you paid for. I did not taste any Rosemary flavor (that was added for freshness) at all or even smell such flavor at all (other than the smell of fat). I got this because I didn't want any preservatives found in cheaper brands. With one jar I was able to make 30 small tamales.

Rosemary and Lard - A Bad Combination
Rosemary. Really? Only reason I can think of adding rosemary to port products is to hide the smell of decay. No need for rosemary in my biscuits, or anything else I cook with lard. Rosemary doughnuts? I think not.

Outdated products in my order.
I"d give this product a 5-star rating from my previous experience, but the two jars in my order are both outdated. One says "use or freeze by Oct 04 2019". The other says "use or freeze by Dec 30 2021. Both have discoloration of the product at the bottom of the jar. I have had good results with my past pick-up order at Walmart but I'll now have to return these items
