Faultless Starch 55-SC-02 Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner, 1 oz

My iron had something black on it that was getting on the clothes I ironed, so I ordered the Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner on-line, because it wasn't available in my local WalMart. I followed the instructions and it worked well. My iron looks great now.

I put a small amount of the Faultless iron cleaner on a clean dry rag and wiped away years of stuck on mess from my iron. Now it's clean as a whistle and makes ironing so much easier.

Follow the directions. And it cleans the iron perfectly. 👍

Needed to clean off iron from glue; several drops glue went into the vents, but suing this cleaner with a q tip did the trick.

I've been using this for years, works every time to remove the gunk that builds up on the bottom of the iron.

This stuff is great. And it's a good price in the store--found it in the cleaning section and the ironing section. I had never cleaned my iron before and it was very discolored underneath. I used a whole tube and my iron is still rubbing off black stuff. Part of me is wondering when it will end, but I bought several more tubes and will go back to work to see if I can get to a point where my iron rubs clean! This also makes the iron run so smoothly across the fabric--I never realized that before. Maybe a smooth iron will help me enjoy ironing (well, maybe just a tiny bit!).

I have used this product for years but lately it has been harder and harder to find. Home crafters and sewers I know depend on this product. The tubes seem to be getting smaller and there are often air pockets with little or no product, manufacturers may wish to review their filling process. Less product in the tube makes it even more expensive that purchase price.
