I would recommend this material for this purpose.
I am using this material to make curtians that are not available any longer. I love the material. I has a nice sheen to it and it hangs great. It was received in a timely manner and before expected.

nice material just needs to be washed.
I bought this material to make my shirt's I have to have white because I have exzma real bad. So with white my body don't hurt.

Silk Polyester aka Faux Silk Poly Dupioni Shantung
I was not sure about it until it arrived. It is perfect for what I needed for. I had never before worked with the Faux Silk Poly Dupioni Shantung Fabric which is actually 100% Polyester. It is so soft. I may buy more for another project for my great granddaughter.

Navy polyester dupioni
The fabric color is great and resembles silk Dupioni. It feels very strange, like crepe paper only it's fabric, and it REALLY ravels. Don't cut the seam allowances or it will come apart. Stays put in a bow like it should. Lighter weight than typical dupioni but ok.

For Halloween costume, Got the job done
This product definitely frayed very easily. So working with scissors is difficult.

It is what it is.
Incredibly rough, super low quality, rapidly frayed before I could hem it. Pretty color but more of a metallic beige than rose gold. Honestly though not terrible for the price. Fabric is expensive these days.

The color of this fabric is rich and true to copper color, however it is no were near silky feeling. It is stiff and scratchy and doesn't drape at all. Very disappointed order 3 yards of it.
