after reading all of the reviews on this garbage can I was a little bit leery to order it, but I am sure glad that I did !!! This garbage can surpassed every single claim that they made. It looks great, too good to put garbage in it lol. this item works absolutely perfect!!!!!!! I am so,so happy with this kitchen garage can, I wish I bought it a long time ago!!! Linda

We really liked the 13 gallon size. The black metal can with a touchless sensor. Auto open auto / close with a manual open/close option. The sales price along with an additional 3 year warranty price made it a must have.

I reall like this garbage can. it matches my fridge so it looks nice. Everything is great with this garbage can. I recommend this garbage. Great product great price.

I needed a new kitchen trash can with a lid. I came across this one and it lives up to its reviews, I bought the stainless steel looks good. The auto open motion sensor makes it very convenient for when you have dirty hands and need to throw something away. The lid has a stay open button which I have used a few times. Everything functions great.

I got this trash can so my husband and I could give it to his parents for Christmas. They had never heard of an automatic opening trash can. They just love it and think it is the best thing they ever got for Christmas. We have 2 I got from you and we love ours too. Thank you

Nice looking, economical trash can Pros: - Can really is stainless metal, not plastic so heavy even when empty - Has buttons to manually open/close - Sensor seems strong - Has enough delay in closing that you can throw most anything out w/o it closing too soon. - Is truly a 13 gal trash can Cons: - Takes C cell batteries - Can't be moved by picking up from the lid (Did that and dropped the heavy can on my foot and bruised it) - Has this ring that you're supposed to put the trash bag through so it stays hidden. It's a pain in the neck, but trash can still works (thankfully) w/o it, you can just see the bag sticking out a little under the lid. All in all, a decent touchless trash can. Time will tell

Trashcan works well, but the stickers that cover the controls on the top do not stick well and they curl up on the sides. I have purchased two of these trash cans and they both are like that doesn't affect the trashcan working, but it doesn't look very good either.

The only drawback of this item is that it takes two C batteries. I haven't bought a C battery in years. But it is possible to use the garbage can without using the automated lid. It would be advantageous for the supplier to seek a solution that uses a more common battery size that consumers have on hand.

The lid does not respond in a timely manner. If I am trying to fix a meal I don't need to spend extra time waving my hand to get the trash can to open.

It worked great for the first 10 months and slowly the lid started opening slower. After 11 months the lid started getting so slow it didn't open all the way or took forever. I changed the batteries twice and that still didn't help. Otherwise, it was a great can. I bought 2 and only one has been doing this. I have the protection plan and I filed a claim.
