I've been using the 14C10 14-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder daily in my home business office for the past two months, and I'm very happy with this purchase. It's a great size for a home office without taking up too much space, yet it's powerful enough to handle several sheets of paper at once, including documents with staples. Bought this shredder as our previous shredder broke after many years of use. We are in the process of moving after being here for years. There are many papers, past taxes and history to be shredded. My new shredder is on rollers and easy to move around on the carpet. The lightweight slide-out bin with clear plastic window to show when it needs to be emptied without lifting the heavy top makes it very user friendly. I no longer need to open all the junk mail because of the 14-sheet shredding capacity.

I decided to not use the wheels since the unit sits on the carpet. The wheels are sturdy and well-made. They'll live in the junk drawer, just in case. The unit is lighter than I expected, a thinner plastic than my old unit. Since I have neither children nor pets it should be just fine. It isn't silent, but the noise level is tolerable. And, yes, it really does shred credit/debit cards! My old shredder lasted over 20 years. We'll see if this one dies before I do. I'm very happy with my purchase.

My prior one lasted 8 years for personal use. Excellent Brand and worth the money. I used oil sheets for maintenance. Keeps the shredding blades in good shape.
