I was unsure whether to order a memory foam wrist pad, or a gel one. I was convinced my mousepad rest was a gel one, so I ordered this Fellowes gel pad. Having used this for a little while, I may be replacing my mousepad rest now, as it was the foam. It is fairly stiff, and does not give a whole lot. For me this is excellent, as I have a lower keyboard (Sidewinder x6) and it is perfect for it. I also game quite a bit. It conforms shape very easily. It seems very well built and should last a long time. I even like the color. Some mentioned about a smell that was emitted. I only noticed it when I opened the package, and that was it. If you are on your computer many hours of the day, do your wrists a favor: Pick one of these up. I am very happy with this purchase; I should have done it a long time ago!

This is a nice simple wrist rest which can be cleaned as needed as it wipes off if its' soiled not like some that have fabric can show anything and everything. I've been using one for years but it was damaged in a recent move when it was folded and the gel ruptured out. I found this one and ordered it without hesitation.

I've used this keyboard wrist rest since probably Fall 05 or Spring of 06 and it's been great. I'm a gamer and spend a lot of time at the computer so it's seen a lot of hours of use. It's comfortable and supportive and has no problem of leakage. I definitely recommend this product.

My several 5 year old Fellows wrist rests are an inch longer and more important a half inch higher. So they keep my fingers in the proper place for a keyboard. The new ones are cost reduced but keep the same washable properties and nice touch.

It's not as soft as I thought gel would be but (give the price) it certainly does the job.

Pro: The shape fits the curve of the keyboard nicely Cons: Soft plastic material gets hot and sticky next to your skin. The item appears fragile and likely to leak if poked with a pen, pencil, scissors, etc. The black, oblong shaped wrist rest has a wider shape and fabric cover that seems sturdier and less likely to leak.

I have bought this product in the past (two actually, one for each office I worked at). In the past these lasted years and did exactly what I expected it to...support my wrists. Now that I have started a new job, I had them order me a new wrist support and to my disappointment, the gel is already starting to collapse! I have literally only owned this wrist support for 4 weeks and it looks like I've owed it for years! I don't know what happened to the quality of this product, but I hope that Fellowes not only replaces the one I have, but also fixes the issue for the future.

I purchased this as a replacement for my old one. It is not the same product as it once was. They have reduced it to the point of being worthless. It is about half as thick as it once was and not as long. The price hasn't changed though. This is a perfect example of a company cutting corners and praying nobody will notice. My wrists are hardly supported with the "new" gel. The old one felt sturdy and thick while the new one causes my wrists to sink to the bottom which causes major discomfort. I suggest looking at the Innovera brand instead. They are most like the old Fellowes wrist support. I won't be buying Fellowes again.
