Fellowes P-8 Cross Cut Shredder

I don't write a lot of reviews but Walmart asked so...in short I have a need for a nice shredder but not the money...It was a great price, i.e. sale and I took advantage...the shredder is awesome...I have alot of papers to shred (I'm in the financial services industry). So that's about it.

It'll shred papers with paper clips in it I made the mistake of putting an envelope as received in the mail in it and it stopped working. Paper was stuck under the plastic trigger device. Dug the paper out and it continued working. My fault, not the shredder.

A good shredder. Does all I ask and keeps coming back for more. I wonder if I will ever have to use the extended coverage.

This is a great shredder for home use. It's fast and the cut size provides a good level of security.

This shredder is much faster than my old one and is a good replacement. The grip to lift off the top for emptying is helpful and I would like to have similar grips for moving the shredder. I set it on a tray to make it slide easier from one place to another. Walmart's 2nd day free delivery was the best part of the deal.

I bought this shredder after doing some research on it. I needed a bigger one and this one fits the bill. Love the big basket, it holds so much more than my old one. Shreds multiple papers with no problem. Really like the lock feature on it, I have two grand-daughters that sometimes get into things they shouldn't. Great value and a good price!

I thought this shredder was of much higher quality than I expected for the price. The manual doesn't say much about the lubricating process but I was able to find detailed instructions at online "how to" sites. It does an excellent, fast job and my only objection is that it is loud. I would recommend it for most home office applications.

Not powerful enough to shred mail without motor getting wound down.- Would not purchase it again;-Mist lift weights in order to be strong enough to lift top cutter out to clean out the shredder.;

The container is too small for a large amount of paper. The process is slow because you must empty continously and you cannot separate the shredder itself from the container.......the shredder itself works great, but would be nice if it could be used over a garbage can

Says it will shred 8 sheets, not even good with 5. Jammed up constantly. Poor quality for the money.
