Fellowes Powershred 6ct Cross-Cut Paper Shredder - Black

This shredder was very affordable and does exactly what I need it to! As a student, I always had random papers lying around that I no longer needed. Being able to shred them really cuts down on how fast my office trash bin fills up. I also use it to shred credit or debit cards that have expired. The plastic of the bin feels a bit flimsy, but other than that it is great!

I 'am really surprised at the quality of the basket. it's shredding is not noisy and it shreds very well .

Although this new shredder worked efficiently well in shredding my private documents, please note that you better be patient. This model seems to have a 5-page maximum (paper thickness is relevant). So, if you have many documents to shred, make time to get the job done. If you attempt to shred 6 or more documents, the shredder will jam. *Simply reverse the direction, unjam it, and apply less documents.

Just purchased on 2/13/2021 and have not used much yet. It does seem to operated quietly and efficiently. I did some research prior to purchasing the Fellowes label and found it received consistently better than average ratings, which is why I chose the moderately priced shredder. Time will tell if I chose well. I understand it to have a one year limited warranty.

We wanted a smaller but efficient shredder that would take care of everyday needs. We did not need a huge one for the two of us. It is the perfect size and easy to use. Very happy with our purchase.

I haven't used it very much but, when I do, it is very quiet. The durability will be tested when I get around to handling all my junk mail.
