This unit is very powerful yet really quiet. Very simple assembly that requires little to no effort or reading of the instructions. It looks really sleek and pretty matching most office decor. Received order within 7 days of order placement; outstanding.

Bought this to replace a similar Fellowes shredder that worked great for 20 yrs before having problems. This one is quieter than the other. Is working well so far. Pleased with purchase except for the fact it cost twice as much. Time and inflation I guess.

I had another model of Fellowes which lasted to my satisfaction (wish they had all metal gears, that's what always goes out) and saw hoe quiet this one was supposed to be and had auto stop on jamming. I am amazed how much quieter it is! Hope the auto jam feature will work as sell.

This shredder does an excellent job of finely shredding documents, credit cards, junk mail, etc. we are very pleased with it. It's easy to operate and empty.

Had another shredder a few years back and it could not handle the load. So far this is performing well.

I have had it for a Month and it has been great! No jams, auto on when you place the paper in the guide. I love it!

This was a family gift. We like the cross cut feature. I ordered this from Sam's Club. Fast delivery very easy ordering.

I bought this about 1 month ago , I have had fellows shredders for ages and am tough on them..I also like the auto turn off feature, as well as the need to turn on only when needed, . and the shredder does a great job so far' The Large umber of shredding capacity is also needed.. although this one has less capacity to hold the shredded papers than my last old Fellows. .Sadly everything but the shredder assembly is made of a flimsy plastic. particularly the outside assembly. Plastic screw holders will eventually dry up and become brittle and start breaking like my last one did .But on the other hand it took 10 years to have the plastic lid holding the metal shredder assembly to snap the plastic metal screw holders The flimsy plastic is the only reason it is nota 5 .

Everything seems good with this. We shred a lot of paper & so far no problems. Worth the extra money.

I finally invested in a jam proof paper shredder. I prefer to stay with Fellowes because of reputation of quality . I emptied the first load of paper that was a breeze to shred with. It turned out that in my shredder , the design of this shredder puts flex into the base so I was not able to Place the shredding machine in its base. A call to Fellowes confirmed that my shredder needed to be returned . I had it for only 6 days ! I packed it up for FedEx pickup .So I purchased a Fellowes paper shredder with a different design.
