Fellowes Powershred 99Ci 100-Percent Jam-Proof Cross-Cut Shredder

We just received it this week and so far it awesome. Easy to use. Basically took it out of the box and it was ready to go. Came with bags as well and oil. Very pleased. it is not an eyesore which is appealing.

We have had our share of shredders and they all break very quickly. This one has been great so far. It is very sleek looking. It is also very quiet. So glad we made this purchase.

You definately get what you pay for. Had a noisier, slower, jammier (lol) cheaper unit before this purchase, it did it's job for the budget we had at the time. But once we decided to upgrade, after previous unit went the shredder heaven, we are certainly happy with spending the extra $$$ and having a hush puppy with turbo teeth. Go Ahead Chew til you can't chew no more, Good Dawg. :-)

I've had several shredders before, this one is very very good. Jam proof, safe and best of all, quiet! In a few hours I caught up on 6 months worth of shredding! It goes for 30 min without stopping, then it needs to cool down for 45 but that is fine with me as I need a break anyways! There is even a sensor to tell you when the bin is full and needs emptying. I would and will recommend this to my friends!

We are impressed with the quality of the machine in general. We don't seem to be able to shred as many pages as indicated but we are still extremely satisfied with the shredder. We have now purchased a much larger shredder for general use throughout the school.

I am not a professional choosing Shred machines so I decided first to browse and understand the difference between models such as price, size, volume of paper...etc I read that Ci90 was really good and the capacity was perfect for the office I work. I really recommend it. easy to use, it is not noisy, practical to carry around the office because it has wheels.

The operation of the shredder is simple and easy to use. I like the safety off feature. It's able to shred sheets without jamming and when bin is full an indicator light will let you know. It's advertised for commercial use, but I recommend also for home use. The only con I have is that the bin is made of flimsy material and you have to be careful not to bang it too hard when emptying. The sides of the bin can easily be damaged. Disappointing for the price paid.

The 99Ci is an excellent shredder for a small office environment. Cross cut and 100% jam proof are nice features. The 99Ci is fairly quiet as well. It's rated to run for 30 minutes, however it does run for almost an hour without overheating and shutting off for a cool down period. The only con to this unit are that it doesn't shred 18 sheets as stated. It's more like 14 without jamming (when it jams, it automatically reverses itself). Overall, I'd highly recommend the 99Ci.

I owned the same product and this is a replacement. The Pullout Bin in the new model is cheap and falls apart. The previous model was solid and durable. The new model is held together by plastic fasteners which seem to come off and can not be put back on as you dump the top part when emptying the bin without knowing you threw out the top of what holds the bin together. Poor design for the Pullout Bin. I was fortunate to have kept the old pull out bin and am using it.
