Fellowes Quasar+ 500" Manual Comb Binding Machine, 18-1/8" x 15-3/8" x 5-1/8", Metallic Blue

I've worked with many binding machine in my career and fiddling with the settings in anyway shape or form typically buggers up ever presentation binding you have to do after and your are hooped. Not with this machine. They have taken away the minute settings and replaced it wil simple ones. Either you're doing letter sized or oversized. Quite frankly this is a breath of fresh air and makes my job all the more easier. ALL my presentations look the same and I never have to worry about sizing. As for durability and durability time will tell but it's not flimsy in it's make. It says I can punch up to 25 at a time and it's not wrong. As a general rule I punch less than that but it was still good to know it has the capability. All in all I'm impressed and more than happy with the purchase.

I am very pleased with this machine as it is very easy to use and it works very well. This binding machine makes it easy for us to get that goal accomplished in a timely manner. I would recommend.

This product is one of the best I've ever had. I've used bigger, heavier machines, and this one works much better. It's ease of use is spectacular. I can see us using it for even more things than we originally planned.

After much research I decided to purchase the Followes Comb Binding Machine. I already used the binding covers front & back and the quality is Superb. Amazed how easy this machine operated and the directions came across very easy that anyone could use. Thanks for making such an outstanding machine with Style & Simple directions. So glad I made this choice. Sheila

As a small business owner with a close eye on purchasing equipment that will perform reliably with precision and ease, this comb binder is perfect in every way. It's elegant compact design, sturdy construction, and remarkable easy of use lives up to the Fellowes reputation for producing top tier business document handling solutions. I've used comb binding equipment for more than 25 years. Hands down, this model is without any doubt the best manual comb binder I've ever used. I highly recommend it. Sincerely, M.B. We have a very busy office here and make alot of manuals for our programs that go out. This binding machine makes it easy for us to get that goal accomplished. The convenient pull down lever that runs across the top is easy to use and soft brittle shoulders. The storage compartment is a bit niffy, just in case I need to measure the correct size of comb I need to use. My only down side is that my older binding machine was easier to do the bindings with where this one is a little bit awkward, but none the less still works just fine. I recommend this product to all.

I have only had the machine for one day bu to far so good.....

Easy to use and works as advertised. My first project had 22 pages and it looked great.

Only drawback with this binding machine is needing to hold up pages and remember to slide paper to the far left so holes are punched correctly. I expect this machine will hold up better than its electric model which broke down in less than 3 years. This machine is definitely a keeper.

I work in an office that produces booklets for our customers. We upgraded to the quasar+ when our last binder stopped working. After a few months, the same thing happened with the last. The teeth get stuck in the closed position and we are unable to pull the booklets out without damaging them. Binding has become a hassle. There is no real way to open the device to grease the teeth so we are left with and item that will bind but not cut the holes in the paper. Very discouraging.
