Product goes together easily with the rubber feet. Looks and holds up much better than the brittle plastic ones (every plastic one I have is cracked). AND.....I think they look better! I do wish they made them legal size, if they do I can't find them.

I bought these for my students to hand in papers. They work great and they stack easily so they don't take up a lot of room.

My laptop was overheating. Tried setting it on everything including egg cartons. Saw these trays. When I got them, I did not attach clips. Just turned tray upside down and set the laptop on it. Hasn't overheated since! Inexpensive solution.

Came protected and easy to set uo. The rubber feet/spacers are hard to work with but once on they are great. I wanted simple easy to access trays and that is exactly what they are.

The "feet" for the unit are also the lifters that allow you to securely stack two or three units. The directions for putting the plastic pieces on as either feet (for the bottom unit) or lifters were clear and easy to follow. I am using two units stacked and they are working well loaded with paper. The welding was all secure and the black coating was applied well. For some applications the following might be a problem: The lifters when used for stacking protrude slightly from the from the wire body and require a little more room when you place the units side by side. Also, when you put paper into the tray you have to be careful not to drag the paper on the feet. The tray is full sized for 8 1/2 by 11 paper, but you can catch paper on the feet if you do not put it exactly in - that is, if you turn the paper a little as you put it in the tray. I did that once and learned to be careful. Overall, when stacked, this unit is better than many of the plastic units on the market.

As a letter basket, this product is fine. How can you mess that up? As a STACKABLE basket, that is where the problem comes in. There are 4 plastic pieces that come with each basket. There is a one sentence instruction on how to attach these pieces to use for stacking or as feet. There is one large diagram for each application. In theory these should suffice but in practice they do not. You really need to have patience and very strong hands to attach the pieces for use in stacking. To attach them as feet seems near to impossible to this reviewer. Can't be done. Since I already paid my money and was finally able to attach 2 trays together in stack mode, I will keep them even though they will have no feet on the bottom. Fellowes really needs to review this and try assembling their own products. I imagine they have many other products with similar problems.

We ordered the stacking wire letter trays - they have been here two weeks....I have walked away from "assembling" them 3 times. The hard plastic "clips" are of such poor quality that to "attach" them, you must manually manipulate them to "open" the clip so that after much FORCE you MIGHT be successful in actually getting them to FIT. I can't rate the "performance and durability" of this product because we cannot GET THEM TOGETHER! I'm about to throw them in the garbage!

This wire tray is a very poorly made product. Not easy to assemble and no clear directions, only diagrams available. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase this product.
