Bought for my 11 year old son for Christmas. He's had a fender acoustic for about 2 years and was wanting to step into the electric guitar world. After much research, we decided on the squier. This guitar is perfect! Such great quality. Even step dad of 25 years old guitar experience said it was amazing. Would absolutely recommend!
I surprised my teenage son with his first electric guitar as an early Xmas present. He was shocked and so stoked! He's been playing nonstop. The amp is the cutest amp I have ever seen!
Good size, quality and price!! I was skeptical that this deal was too good to be true…but I took a chance and it is the real deal! Full sized. Exactly as pictured. Comes with everything you need. Looks and sounds great!
Very complete, just like the listing shows. Easy to start with. Just get a guitar tuner and tune it before the first use. Sounds pretty good then.
This was great starter guitar for my daughter. She found it easy to tune. It is light weight and the amp is small but more than powerful enough
I disliked the color but it's a guitar and it was 200 dollars less for this color so I am thrilled to have this item at this price
I ordered this Fender guitar set for a Christmas gift to my son. He loves it! All in on set. Great value
out of the box this seems like a great quality starter guitar and amp set! However the included strap, picks and dvd were missing from my order. If customer service goes well i may update my review.
I bought this Fender Squier as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grandson. He was thrilled to get it, but I decided to get a friend who's played guitar all his life to test it out. When he first played it, he thought everything was fine. He decided to check the tuning once more before I took it back to my grandson. That's when he discovered a spot around the 3rd fret that didn't feel right. The "G" sting produced almost the same tone at the 2nd and 3rd fret and sounded dull in that area. I got my keyboard player to test it yesterday for a second opinion. She taught music her whole life before she retired. She encountered the same problem and it was enough to cause a "D" chord to play out of tune when strummed. New I need to try to return it to Walmart. My grandson is just learning chords now, but when he progresses past the beginner stage I'm sure this will cause him problems.
Guitar arrived with amazing speed but its face plate is all scratched up. There was nothing about it being a returned item and I thought it was new. If it was a returned item then who knows what was done to it by a previous buyer?
