I'm using this for kombucha and ACV fermentation. Works well and the colors are easy to match. I like having the safety aspects of knowing my beginning and ending pH, and this handy little packet makes it a breeze. Thanks!
I am using these strips to test my sauce for food storage safety and it worked perfectly. I suggest just placing one end of test strip about 1/8" into sauce puddle and allowing it to wick the sauce into the strip until a bar of color change appears for comparison to chart. This worked perfectly revealing a very clear green bar approximately 3/16" wide indicating a 3.5pH, perfectly food safe for shipping my "Not Sauce" (Zero Scoville units but tastes just like hot sauce - for those who can no longer eat hot sauces.)
I ordered this for my husband to test his homemade hard cider and mead. Super easy to use and helpful for a home brewer.
My order was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I look forward to using the pH strips for food preserving and fermenting this summer. The roll of strips will be easy to tear off without wasting more than I need for each test. I have purchased items from Fermentaholics LLC in the past and I am have always been satisfied.
the product arrived on time and I have already used it 4 times. works as discribed
This little roll of pH paper is awesome! You just tear off a small piece and you're good to go. It will last a long time! Love Fermentaholics!
Used to verify hot sauce fermentation was low enough to be safe. Worked well.
I used this product to test the acid in my coffee and teas Because I have acid reflux and this is what I used to test how much acid goes into my stomach
It worked ok. I think my challenge is it can be a bit hard to read between 4.5 to 5.0, which was a very relevant distinction for what I was testing. Otherwise it was easy to use and a decent value.
This is actually yellow which makes it very difficult to get an actual reading. Not easy to tear the strip either
