Fermentaholics Organic Scoby With Starter Culture

I'm (was) a total beginner, and this starter proved to be excellent - without any trouble I successfully got my first batch of kombucha, super easy, and continued from there getting my own starters, cycle after cycle, flawless.

It's exactly what was expected. Shipped fast too. The only negative is the cost. Yours was the most reasonable but still too high.

Item was exactly as described. Seller was very helpful when I realized I had made an error on my order.

I have bought from this brand many before and was very pleased. Unfortunately not this time. I was disappointed with the quality of the scoby itself. it was dark and into pieces. They usually are circular and a beautiful amber color This was not the case I introduced it to my sweetened tea as I've done many times before . It has taken much longer for the tea to react to the scoby. I'm just hoping that it will form a new scoby as it usually does. So I can dispose of the original. I do not blame the seller for the quality of the scoby itself. That's why I Rated it as a 3. Delivery was on time as expected.
