Ferrara Instant Espresso, 2 Oz

I'm not an "expert" coffee coniseur. That said, I feel that my taste is slightly developed. I considered trying to talk a friend of mine to get back into the coffee biz after a 20 year success in downtown Minneapolis. knowing my own growth points, I decided our friendship was TOO important to trouble with "business". My preferences are for "medium to full dark roasts" if picking a "generic" French Roast will suffice. Although, I prefer Sumatra or Kona. (Yes, I realize these are locational varieties that may be roasted any way, however, the "traditional" medium-dark roast is what I am going for.) I hope that will give you a framework upon which you may weigh my taste preference. As you have already read, "I find it smooth and tasty". To add to that I didn't perceive any bitterness or harsh taste during or after. Did I sit down and compare several different ones in a "formal cupping"? No. Nonetheless I was pleased.

I add this to my protein shake every morning and couldn't start the day without it. Other instant espressos do not have the flavor of Ferrara. But it is nearly impossible to find on jet sold individually. I actually had to put the gift basket assortment in my cart for jet to suggest the individual size. And even that description is confusing as the count is '24' and the description is (3)-2 oz jars. I am certain this is sold individually, based upon price.

I'm not crazy about the flavor. I got this based on reviews that seemed to rave about it. It's a little bitter and slightly tart. I like espresso with a deep and slightly sweet profile. But I do love how easy it is to fix this up in the morning when I don't want to bother with making espresso and cleaning up!

Not sure if it was stale of it just tastes like that, but it's not a good tasting product, and the discoloration was not coffee color I've ever seen, and I drink a lot of instant coffee products. Couldn't finish it, threw away two jars almost full! Will never buy again from walmart!!!!!!!!!!!!
