[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Shorthair Stylist, I love my FHI ½-inch flat iron for detailed styling. It's perfect for short hairstyling, edges, and getting close to the roots without burning clients. It heats up fast and gives a smooth, shiny finish without needing multiple passes. It's a reliable tool that's perfect for precision work and touch-ups✨️
My beautician uses these in her salon so when I don't go to her and need to straighten my hair, I need these! Works Perfectly and much cheaper than in stores.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a hot tools junkie and I've been looking for a great flat iron to use, and I'm so glad I bought this! I used it to curl my hair and those curls lasted! My 4C hair felt smooth and frizz free at 390.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once upon a time, I was a hairstylist I did this for six years until my allergies put me out of the game. I've used sorry many varieties and brands of irons, curling , flat and waving. My sister recommended this one because nothing seemed to hold for any length of time. Shout out to my little sis. This works! I use it for waving my hair, but it's an excellent flat iron as well and for the job it does the price is well worth it.
Works very well for thick hair. When they stop working (after years of use) this is the only one I purchase. This is my 3rd one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice plates for my grade of hair. this i never knew
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for smooth look. Easy to use and works quickly. I will use this on occasion when I want a smooth look instead of my normal natural curl.
I purchased the FHI styling iron because it's the same one my hair stylist uses it works well, heats up quickly and does a good job overall.
This is a great flat iron. On the first pass my hair is smooth, shiny and feels moisturized. I have to adjust the amount of heat protection product I use! This iron is worth every penny I spent. The only thing I wish is that the plates were more beveled so that I could curl the Ed's of my hair better.
I have been waiting to purchase this flat iron for a long time (years). It is highly recommended by stylists (especially Mo Knows Hair from YouTube) and is known for being a good quality brand. After doing a lot of research It was clear this would be a great purchase for flat ironing my natural hair at home. I finally decided to purchase this product during the Black Friday Sale. I was so excited when my flat iron came last week. Once I opened the box I noticed the flat iron had some imperfections, perhaps it wasn't welded together well. I decided to give it a try anyways because the reviews were so favorable. I did my normal flat iron routine and was shocked and disappointed with the performance. I got the 1 1/4 inch which i thought would be perfect for my type 4 coily/fine natural hair. Perhaps I should have tried the 1 inch because this iron does not reach my roots, the handle is thick, hurts my wrist, is hard to hold, and it SNAGS my hair. Any attempt to curl my hair has been an utter fail and results in my hair getting stuck in the iron and snapping off. My hair is fine and can't handle unnecessary damage. After saving for this for years, I'm really disappointed. I'd love to exchange my iron for the 1 inch to see if it works better for my hair but only unused items can be returned with the current policy. I am now stuck with this iron that doesn't work well and will have to research for a new one.
