I've been eating per my "modified Atkins" diet (I just emphasize protein and fiber and cut out all sugary things, including almost all non-green vegies and non-berry fruit (and not blueberries, either) -- and no rice :( -- Note: Dreamfields pasta gives you a good pasta choice, though) since 2003. It works for me because I love to eat and don't want to do portion control. To enjoy my lifetime pleasure of a bedtime bowl of cereal, I use FiberOne Original (I like to pour the milk on at least 2 hours ahead and put it in the refrigerator so it has more bulk for more eating pleasure), for it is the lowest carb FiberOne type of cereal. Add unsweetened vanilla almond milk (no carbs) plus Great Value "generic" Splenda (tastes the same as Splenda) and -- yay! A nice bowl of cereal. You could probably also make low-carb bran muffins with it (haven't tried). It's pretty good (has a bit of sweetness to it) eaten dry, too -- don't eat too much at a time, though! (fiber absorbs liquid in your body and expands a lot, if it hasn't already done that before you eat it). Drink lots of water if you eat high amounts of fiber. Okay! Finally done. :)
I just love this cereal. I seriously have it every day for breakfast, and it's an amazin way to get my day started. It's definitely a good and tasty way to consume fiber on a low-calorie meal. It really keeps you full and going for the first hours of the morning. I usually have it with strawberries ir blueberries. I wouldn't for sure be craving anything else after having eaten only half a cup plus some fruits.
When my husband learned he was diabetic, he weighed 300 lbs. He was only on insulin for 4 months as he realized he had to stop binge eating and lost enough weight that he is insulin free now. He still has the binge eating want to be, but now makes healthier choices. He loves Fiber One, not as a cereal, but dry as a snack. works for him.
I have digestive problems, and this cereal has really helped, I love that it comes in 2 separate bags in the box. It is really good on top of yogart too.
I like high fiber cereal. My favorite is a mix of these and Bran Buds. I would prefer it if they were even a little bit less sweet.
I meant to order a couple box's of another brand which I really do like better and also the other brand works better for me. However, I will say that this is a good cereal and some people might prefer this over another. One feature of this item is the fact it comes in TWO sealed bags inside each box. I thought that was so great for them to do that. That way, you have fresher product. With this type of cereal, people like me, only eat about half a cup a day so having two sealed packages in the box instead of one big sealed package, is very nice for freshness.
Keeps you regular. Have been buying this item for years because of the high fiber content
The best cereal I ever had, love it, have it with blueberries and almond milk every morning
My husband loves this cereal and has had it every day for breakfast for years. I always purchase multiple boxes so he doesn't run out. I've used it to make snack bars and cookies also. We even take it on trips with us.
My order came in on time. However there was an extra item in my box I had not ordered. I spoke with the manager and he asked for me to return this item. He gave me credit for my purchase for my inconvenience. Everyone was very gracious in taking care of my order. My Wal-Mart is a great store and I highly recommend ordering products on line.
