I purchased this to assist with physical therapy after knee replacement surgery. It is strong, the perfect length (I'm 5'4”) to reach my foot, no big metal dog collar hook to get caught on and the stripes reflect light so I can find it in dim light when I get in and out of bed.
I purchased this for a foster pup who doesn't like to wear a collar. Unfortunately it arrived after she went back, since it was over the holiday weekend. I will keep it just in case we get another dog or see one running around loose. I like that you can slip it over the head and pull it tight. You definitely don't want to try and hook a leash on a scared dogs collar. Then you take the chance of getting bit and injured. I like that it's rolled and not a rough material like leather. I just wouldn't recommend it for a smaller toy breed dog since it's too heavy. Great for larger breeds in my personal opinion. I would buy again for a larger breed than the tiny chihuahua we were keeping over the holiday weekend.
The images show the leather stopper, which is great for keeping the lead from getting too loose. However theres another metal stopper that keeps it from getting too tight %26 choking them, which I really appreciate. It feels like a high-quality product for a really good price.

Almost a miraculous change in our pup with this leash. At 5months he was roughly 45lbs and responded with a calmer demeanor and ease in training than other light leads. We believe the extra thickness and weight gave him a sense of calmness and trust in authority while training. Best lead yet!
