Interesting color. It's supposed to be dark brownish-red but when it's dry it kinda looks metallic copper. Not a bad color tho.

I wanted Tan dye and I received Maroon.

I like this brand, having used it before to dye a few pairs of boots. This particular version is called "Russet". Russet is defined as a brown, specifically reddish-brown. The color in the bottle however, though appearing dark brown when wet, dried as a yellow-orange on a pair of boots that were yellowish to begin with. Yes, I stripped the boots prior to applying the dye; I've done this before. It IS a nice shade, just not the shade I was after: medium brown

It didn't color the shoes the way I thought it would, left them half colored, wasn't impressed with this product.

I ordered usmc black, specifically. They sent me Fiebings plain black, wrong item. Just decided to keep it to avoid the hassle and haven't used yet but I will, unfortunately.

Wrong color!!! Black is what I ordered, blue is what I got ridiculous!!!
