Fiebing's Leather Dye - Dark Brown / 4 oz

I bought the dark brown for my leather boots but it didn't make much of a difference. I did it several times but the color barely showed a difference. See the picture.

Excellent leather dye. Fiebing's has made great dye products for many years. I used it to dye a fading La Z Boy leather recliner. Make sure you buy the dye, not color restorer.

I used this is my husbands leather recliner and it restored the arms back to dark brown and looks very nice. Would recommend highly for any dark brown leather.

Goes on easily, color seams to stay, but I didn't like that the final color was different than the internet color. I know this is always a risk when it comes to dying but still, kind of disappointed with the final color result.

This leather dye is alright, but it's not amazing. The color was pretty true to what I expected, and it did cover the leather. However, I suggest you go darker or darkest you can for the best coverage! It's not the easiest to work with if you're a beginner. I definitely recommend doing a test patch first! Also, be prepared to use a good sealant afterward! Overall, it's a decent product for the price, but don't expect professional-level results. It's fine for small projects or touch-ups, but I'd probably look for something better for anything bigger or more important!

seller sent the wrong color on half of my order. had to reorder correct color

l have used this product all my life.. This purple dye turned out gold. l attempted remove it but because l had stripped the protective layer it was in the lether. The only thing l can do is buy more dye jope it covers the gold and does mo bleed through. What are you going to do to reimburse me and make.my.wife happy that her beand new pair lf sjies are not ruined l do hope you share this bit of information with your customers. Timothy

Tint will come off easily and won't cover well. For example: I used it to cover the trim of a purse and after two days of using the purse it came off.
