Field+Forest by Kaytee Rat Food 2 lb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Dumbo Rats have been eating Kaytee Field + Forest Rat Food for a couple weeks. They clean the bowl daily and seem hungry for more! Eating this food seems to agree with their bellies! I can only assume it must be good to them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We usually have the rat pellet food kept around for a while in the food dish in the rats' cage, but not with this food! We are now having to ration it because they will finish a bowl so quickly! We also love that the cover "model" looks very much like our girl Rain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KT FF PREMIUM PELLET ADULT RAT 6/2LB is good for my pet rats and I love it , they seem to like this brand better than the cheap brands of food. KT FF PREMIUM PELLET ADULT RAT 6/2LB is GREAT! Best ever .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 pet rats and this brand is different than what we've been feeding them so far, so I wasn't sure how they'd take to it, but they seem to prefer it to their other food. It's easy to measure out, keeps them satisfied, and seems to create less dusty mess than our old brand. I will continue to use this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small farm with a few acres. So what prompted me to try this product was the drought we experienced. When rodents can not find food, that is when they come in. And that is not just in cold weather. I placed the pellets out in the pasture and believe me, my little rodent friends did not come in the house! 2 thumbs up on the product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this food to review and I'm pretty satisfied with it. My rats seem to like it, and has quite a firm texture that will be good for aiding In their chewing. However, it has quite a bit less crude protein than the regular food I get for my rats. If I switch over, (which I may do to the quality and price) I will be supplementing extra protein sources for my ratty babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food was alright. My rat was not a big fan of this. He did eat it but it took him awhile to come around. Packaging was alright. I had to put into a separate container after opening so it would not go stale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad that this food does not have any additives to it. My rats did not seem to care for it much. They ate a few pieces and didn't seem interested in it after that. Sadly this didn't work well for us but hopefully it would for others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I had a hard time with the bag. The bag is nice looking, easy to read with a cute picture on the front but the bag would not open easily. When it finally opened the easy close zip parts separated from the bag so now the bag can't be closed. I poured the food into an empty food bowl and while my rat ran over and investigated the food, she wasn't interested at all. Usually she runs over and grabs stuff right out of her bowl but this time she didn't. It took a while and eventually she did eat it, but I don't know if it was because she wasn't hungry when I first filled her bowl or because she realized that was the only food she was getting. Two days later I refilled her bowl and again she didn't eat a thing right away. She ran over and sniffed it and walked away. She did eventually eat the food. So between her reaction and the bag being so darn hard to open, I could only give this 3 stars.
