This gingo loves me some Mexican food! I've been learning from some of my Hispanic friends how to cook different dishes and so I use this Mexican oregano a lot! I love adding it to pazole and a Mexican and Rice dish the dishes aren't good without it! I wish this brand sold this in a much BIGGER package because I have to buy like 10 packs at a time and put them in my glass jar!
This is the only oregano I buy. It's always fresh and there isn't a bunch of seeds and sticks in it like the other “authentic” brands.
This Mexican oregano is great! It's as good as any other brand I've bought and the price is great!
the bag makes it difficult to use
The oregano is very fragrant and tastes well. Reminds me of Mediterranean oregano.
it adds a good quality to you receipt. your sauces are more tasty
Fiesta spices never disappoint great taste
The extra fancy Mexican oregano... I could see why they have crowned it that name. I have never used or had such a high quality experience with dried oregano. The leaves are so much more formed, it feels and smells a substantial high quality oregano! So I was mostly pleased, until I have started noticing that whenever I use, particularly when it does not have a full immersive cooking process, it tastes BITTER!!! So when I cook it on my eggs, it is quite bitter, in fried vegetables, still bitter! Even in stews it has given me a bit of a bad taste which I was extremely surprised and upset by. What a shame! and I thought so highly of it! So I guess this is not the most versatile and "extra fancy" as it likes to call itself oregano, as it requires a very specific type of cooking. Or a process that I'm not aware of how to deal with. So for me, it's a NO. I won't be buying it again and will continue my hand for a more pleasant tasting oregano.
Change the title and description to match the picture. It is .25 oz not 1 oz
This is NOT one ounce as listed, but 1/4 ounce
