This is a good kit to get started especially. I don't have much experience and had never heard of XLR. It doesn't come with XLR cable but does support it. If you use the supplied USB C cord it powers everything including RGB with the one cord. It actually runs through the mic boom arm so it appears mostly wire-free in your setup. Having the arm match the mic perfectly is a nice thing to grab as the kit. The arm is all metal with springs. It holds pretty well. I just threw it on the side of my nightstand to have it by my bed so I could record stuff anytime. It held well sideways in a not normal position. The mic has a screen on it to show Mute and connection information. It works plug and play or with Fifine Genie app. I got an XLR cable to connect it to the AmpliGame Gaming Audio Mixer. It was plug and play and sounded good with that too. I will continue to learn more of the features of the app and the mics and tune the sound a little for different things but those are learn as you go things. This is my first step into creating better content. Not streaming but recording some reviews and things like that. I think this has been a really good place to start for me. Fifine AmpliGame has a lot of good priced things to start your experience off well. I have a few of their products now and have no regrets. Btw, they overnight shipped this.

I got this for my 16 year old to start his YouTube Channel for gaming. This item is so awesome. I can't wait till he gets in from school so he can set it up.... I will be back to upload more pics.

This thing is awesome ! Set up was fast and easy and so far the mic is a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it. Note , I have another microphone and in my opinion this one out performs my other one.

This has been an amazing mic for the cost. I use it for streaming and discord and I can confidently say that the only worthwhile upgrade from this would be like a shure well over $100 microphone.

Highly recommended!! Easy set up. It hold your device so you can read off prompter while streaming or on podcast. Well built sturdy and strong material. I live it and I only used it once!!!!

The mic itself is great I love the audio quality, the boom or stand is a bit cheap and it seems the parts you twist to tighten to lock the mic in place struggle to close all the way but it still seems like it'll hold fine, good budget mic overall if you don't want to lose sounds quality

The microphone and boom are perfect. Only issue I would say is that it isn't as noise cancelling as I believed it to be. Still amazing and I will use for as long as I need a microphone
