I picked up this desktop microphone stand as I get started with my podcast, and it's been a solid choice so far. This is a very heavy duty Mic stand now I have to buy the Mic very good quality I would recommend this Stand.It is the base and the pole but you can adjust the height that you need.

This is, in fact, heavy-duty metal and not cheaply made. It's very sturdy and easy to put together. I love the extra padding on the base, so it won't scratch my desk. It is as described.

If you need a stationary mic stand, this will do. Not too heavy. Owned a mic stand before but misplaced so when I saw this one, I decided to get.

I received the Microphone Desktop Stand today and right away tested it with a large popular vocal/podcast microphone namely a Shure SM7. It supported it very well although I wish the base was a little bigger, but the base is heavy enough to support this heavy Mic. I think it will work well for me. The extension could be a little longer for this price.

This mic stand works as it should. It looks nice and goes with our set up well. Looks professional. Would recommend.

I didn't realize for the price the mic wasn't even included, I may have chose differently if I'd paid closer attention to that in the description.
