Works great with OBS. I was concerned I'd have some issues with Linux Mint getting it to recognize it, but it was identified without doing anything special and has been working great for the past few weeks. I'd recommend it for beginners and new streamers/contrent creators. Even for everyday users... I think the sound quality is much better than the built in to my motherboard sound chip.

First impressions: well packaged like all FIFINE items. Unit feels solid and well constructed, with snappy buttons and quality rotary controls that actuate smoothly. Full assortment of input and output jacks on the rear interface panel, including an optical port, and of course, a combination XLR/ 1/4” plug jack. The XLR port provides selectable phantom power level on demand. In terms of performance, this unit is a breeze to operate. Controls are all well labeled and intuitive, and it’s a matter of minutes from setting the unit up to processing your first audio. It streamlines the process of audio production and quickly gets you an end result, rather than spending hours to get there. Sound quality is unsurpassed. Backlighting on all controls makes operating in even low light a breeze. This unit offers features available on units costing double what this product costs, so it is a very good buy at the current price point. I give this a very strong 5 star recommendation - my highest - for another FIFINE product that gives the consumer a whole lot of functionality for the dollar!

This SC8 from FIFINE is an audio mixer that provides, among other features, an (48v phantom power) XLR to USB interface so you can mix the audio from your game, microphone and other sources when making a play-through or speed play, or other gaming video. In terms of the quality of the unit, it is unsurpassed, with smooth pots and selectors, nice tight jacks and connectors, and a solid case that “feels” sturdy. Mastering the functions is a breeze and operation is quite intuitive, and aesthetically, the RGB lighting features are a nice counterpoint to the clean white design of the unit. Ergonomically it is superb, with everything right where you expect it to be. In summary, this FIFINE SC8 gets my highest recommendation of five stars. This will improve your gaming videos.

This was a gift for my gamer husband. He has not tried it out just yet, but he seems to be very pleased with the quality and features! He is super picky, so if he gives it a stamp of approval then it is legit!! This is a guy who researches EVERYTHING and is very particular with his spending. Highly recommend!

The lighting looks great with our gaming set up! It was easy to plug up on the PC does require an app and some experience is recommend on functionality. We are new to the entire gaming set up this is an addition to a beginners computer game so the price was attractive. Microphone isn’t included we had one from a previous soundboard that was compatible with this one. It seems like a simple program to get familiar with and can see it being easier to navigate with more usage over the next few days. We are using this with a MacBook/ Nintendo Switch

If I'm honest it's not really worth it because you can't try to use it for a dual gaming pc setup because when you plug your mic into it and try to actually use it, you get both your audio and your mic that will come through on your say obs or whatever your streaming service is. I'd say save up for something better and get that.

I purchased this after watching a YouTube review about the Fifine Tank 3 sounding amazing with the XLR cable and MC3 board. I can barely hear myself compared to the USB connection. I was able to use USB and OBS filters to get far better sound. It's possible I have no idea how to set it up but I have watched several videos and it doesn't work well for me at all.
