Fifty Shades of Grey: Book One of the Fifty Shades Trilogy (Paperback)

This is a real page turner. Definately for adult eyes only. But I wouldn’t say it’s too over the top, the love story is fabulous.

It's a grown up book kids should not read but it is a very very good book

I admit that I unintentionally stumbled across Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James during a work break. I was only trying to find a place to briefly relax, yet still close enough to my work station when I saw this book. I had also seen a movie trailer for an upcoming movie around this book when I went with my husband to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Anyhow, Fifty Shades of Grey centers around a young woman named Anastasia Steele (in her 20’s) who unexpectedly falls in love with Christian Grey. Their relationship is complicated and is conducted very discreetly. Their passion for each other is mutual. However, Anastasia Steele ends up having a lot of questions that stir in her mind because of the many secrets that her lover keeps. For instance, Christian Grey admits to her that an older woman actually taught him a lot of what he knows in the area of romantic affairs. However, this unconventional indoctrination happened to him when she was already a mature woman and he just a teenager. Apparently, they are still close friends and this becomes a source of both curiosity and concern in Anastasia’s mind. This is only one of the multiple details that paint a profile of Christian Grey’s mysterious persona.

I've read hundreds of romance novels. This one is the best I've ever read. Yes it's steamy and hot, but it also manages to touch on every single human emotion imaginable. The story takes on a life of it's on. A great read. Definitely something to talk about later (if you can do so without blushing, I dare you!) And thanks to walmart for the great price. Can't wait to read the next 2 in the series. Can't put this one down!

I wanted to see what all the hype was about and see fo myself if the book was all its said to be . ive read it 2 times already and im waiting for the second book to be deliverd .... so if your in to this kind of book ... or even if your not :) i suggest you give it a read .

I wasn't going to read these books. I just didn't want anything to do with it. But then I watched the movie trailer and I wanted to read before I saw the movie. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID!!!! I love all 3 of the books. I love the story. I can't wait for the movies but until then I will read these books! The 50 shades trilogy has become my favorite books ever!!!! :)

I just finished reading the book 2 days ago. It was really good! It has a great story line. I fell in love with the characters. I'm really excited for the movie to come out. The book was very well written. I definitely recommend it for people over the age of 18.

I was given the second and third book to have and read and had to borrow the first book. Loved them so much the author is a very good writer and kept my interest with all three books right until the end. That I had to buy the first book to have all three for my collection and I reread them again. Great books a must read.

I Loved all 3, a friend of mine loaned them to me to read and now I'm buying them, Just sad to hear that when the movie comes out in Aug. of 2013 Charlie Hunnam he will not be playing Christian Grey man he was thEE perfect guy for this roll.
