This is a very nice set of knives. They're sharp and seem pretty sturdy and well made. They packaged them well with plastic tip covers. They recommend to hand wash only. The wood block is solid and has a very nice finish. They included a sharpening tool which is a great addition to the set, along with the kitchen scissors. They recommend sharpening the knives every 2 to 3 months depending on the amount of usage each month. This whole set seems well worth the money. I definitely recommend!

Extremely high quality considering the price point. Blade, bolster and pommel are all a single piece of steel with handle slabs attached, almost seamlessly. Im extremely impressed with this set, the 40-50 dollar price point is great. I would recommend these if you need a set of knives, you won't be disappointed.

Wow. I am amazed by this product! First, it came packaged extremely well. Everything was sealed perfectly. After I removed the hard plastic the pieces were sealed in, I took out the butcher's block. A beautiful piece of wood that was sanded down and finished into a smooth block. No splinters from this! It will look lovely on my counter. The knives are also sealed in hard plastic, and then again individually in little bags with Styrofoam on the tips to keep them from cutting you when you remove them. After Inspecting them, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the handles are made. When I first saw them, I thought they would be that wobbly wood held on by screws type of handles. They are not. They are all one piece that is incredibly put together. They fit your hand perfectly, are sealed in a smooth finish, and you can feel the weight in your hand. Definitely not a cheap, unsturdy handle. And talk about sharp?! Be very careful when you take these knives out as they are incredibly sharp. This is an all-around great buy. These knives are a beautiful and exceptional addition to your counters. With them dishwasher safe, and the built-in sharpener in the block, these are going to last a very long time. I am now just worried about cutting my fingers when I chop my vegies!

The knife block itself is large and definitely takes a bit of counter space. Its heavy wood with a beautiful dark finish. The knives are very sharp and durable. They came packed nice, individually wrapped with a tip protector so no accidents unwrapping. They were easy to unpack and set up in the block. Overall its a very nice knife set.

I was holding out a big named fancy set of knives. These looked good so I thought I would give the a try. They are made nice. The serrated steak knives are ok. The blades are nice and not flimsy but the handles look a little more like plastic. The other knives in the set are nice. They are heavy not flimsy at all. The blade, the finger guard and the buttt of the handle are all one piece of metal. They are sharp. The only thing, it doesn't have a built-in sharpener. They are talking about the honing steel. Which is not big deal. I think this is a great deal for these knives. Don't let the cheap price deter you from checking these out. A good buy for sure.

The blades are incredibly sharp and the chef knives feel heavy, well-balanced, and sturdy in hand. The serrated steak knives slice through foods much easier than others. The walnut block is very attractive sitting on my countertop. Knives well packaged and individually wrapped so arrived in good condition.

Wow! I always wanted a knife set like this! This was sent to me free in exchange for an honest review, and I am honestly impressed. Fikshot 14 piece knife set with solid wood block displays the 8" chef, 8" bread, 7" santoku, 5" utility and 3.5" paring knife plus 6 serrated steak knives with white no slip handles for a sure grip, necessary for cutting with a super sharp knife. The heft of the essential kitchen knives is surprisingly heavy, a testament to the high quality stainless steel blades! They are dishwasher safe, and it is recommended to dry each knife with a soft dry towel before putting back in the block. This would make a nice gift to one's self or to newlyweds! Two thumbs up!

This is my first serious knife set purchase and I was not disappointed. The feel and fit are perfect. The blades come razor sharp and the wood block holds everything quite nicely instead of banging everything up in a kitchen drawer. All the typical knifes for food prep are here and then some I will have to learn more about. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are a decent stater knife set for sure. Plastic handles on the steak knives, sturdy construction, nice block. They're good quality for the price. I would recommend them for anyone starting out on their cooking journey. They look and come exactly as described and pictured, so what you see is what you get. I don't like that the steak knives handles are plastic and may have a notch where it was removed from the mold I believe. That is really my only complaint. The set comes with a bread knife for loaves, craftsmanship is good. They'll probably last a good amount of time.

First off, the craftsmanship of the wooden block %26 the stainless steel lingers with sturdy handles is beyond what I expected for the price. These are great quality %26 cut through veggies, fruits, and meats with ease before even sharpening them. They arrived sharp and protected with plastic covers over the end of each knife point. I gave it 4 stars just due to the scissors arriving with some type of film/residue on both sides of it even though it was wrapped %26 packaged like the others (see photos). It took some scrubbing with a sponge %26 dish soap degreaser to remove the residue completely. The chef knives are very sharp %26 durable but not too heavy.the bolster on the knives are quality made for at home cooking %26 have not caused any issues so far. I've been using the set for a few days now %26 they have been washed in the dishwasher with no spotting occurring.
