Film-gard 10' X 100' Black Polyethylene Construction Sheeting, 6 Mil

We purchased this to close in our screened patio for the winter. We are planning on a more permanent solution, but this was a quick fix when temps drop and rain was pouring in. A little noisy when it's windy, but a small price to pay to not have rain pouring in on everything.

I live in a state where weeding can be a full time job. They came through the weed cloth I painstakingly put in last year. Regular plastic weed block is thin and disintegrates pretty quickly. I am hopeful for this to last so as to keep the weeds at bay and maybe over time kill all the ones underneath once and for all. Fingers crossed. This roll is large and should be enough for my needs. The plastic is thick, it says it is construction grade. Made in the USA which is always a plus. I just installed some along the north side of my place where it gets minimal to no sun, and will probably leave it uncovered there. The sunny areas will get mulched to protect from UV rays. I gave it five stars when not knowing how it will hold up over time, but with the thickness of the plastic it should be better than most anything else out there.

Item arrived quickly. This is heavy duty plastic, will buy again, when this box runs out. Great for many things on the farm.

i like that my goats dont want to eat this plastic. i use it to block wind on my barns, its sturdy and hold up to the strong winds

6 ml black plastic is necessary as a ground cover to eliminate Foxtail weeds as thick as grass in Southern California. I place mulch or Tan decomposed granite or rock on top of plastic to landscape my yard--(with an impressive fake pond using Walmart Blue Aquarium Rock!) 10' width covers large area without seams even for narrow areas. Could not do it without 6ml black plastic!

Poly was so wrinkled on the roll that it was unusable straight out of the box. It was bad. Had to unroll the entire length in the sun to help relax some of the worse wrinkling. The plastic was a dull, flat black color and easily damaged. The plastic was almost paper-like in 65-68 degree sunny days. It no way resembled what one normally expects 6mil black poly to look or perform. Box arrived busted open and torn. With damaged to the plastic from shipping as well. Were it not for time constraints, I would have returned it. Very disappointed.

The plastic did not have straight edges. It was deformed in areas, so it wasn't square and wouldn't lay flat properly.
