Filters smell like marijuana
I have been purchasing Filterbuy filters for my hvac unit for years and always had a positive impression of their quality and functionality. This time, however, when I opened the package it smelled strongly of marijuana. I had my husband smell it and he said the same thing. I waited a few hours and tried again and it still smelled the same. I thought maybe it was the outside of the package but the outside smelled fine. The very definite marijuana smell was coming from INSIDE the package, possibly from the filters themselves??! How could this happen?? I definitely cannot run the air in my home through something that smells like marijuana fumes. I'm returning and will try ordering another pack. If this ever happens again, I will have to switch brands. My faith in the quality of this product has been badly shaken.
