Filtrete 16x30x1 HVAC Furnace Air Filter, MPR 300 MERV 5, Basic Dust and Lint, 1 Filter

For the price and quality, you cannot do better than these. First, these filters last 3 months--as opposed to the cheaper monthly filters. In the end, these are a better deal per month than the cheaper versions. Second, a lot of the areas where I install the filters are in the ceiling--the cheaper ones just fall out and are difficult to get to stay--love the solid frame and sturdiness. Lastly, they provide great air flow and work great with pets, with a lot of bedrooms in our home and kids with asthma, does a great job removing dust and particles from the air. High performance! Highly recommend!

air guy said I was using wrong filters. needed a certain "merv" number. Never heard of this before. went everywhere looking for a certain number. no home center or hardware store had this number. went on line to Walmart and there it was. ordered 12 filters for a year. what a relief....can't run an air conditioner without one!!!!

I knew these were cheap, but had no idea of how flimbsly these are and distort in the frame. I will have to step up next time!

I like this brand more then others, you CAN SEE THE DUST OR DIRT BUILD UP GREAT BECAUSE THEY ARE WHITE, SO YOU KNOW THEY ARE WORKING!!

Thanks Wal-Mart for stocking the 16x30x1 Filtrete Clean Living Filter. This is a hard to find size. Filter fits Perfectly and does a Good Job Filtering !

These filters arrived quickly. We always buy Filtrete because they are made well, and really trap any dust and etc. They are a trusted brand, and do the job they are intended to do.

Most ridiculous thing ever!!! You packed only one filter per huge cardboard box so I got 3 boxes when they all would have fit in 1 box!!! What a waste!

The carcboard frame and the material used to enforce the filter are subpar. After several weeks, especially as furnace is used more due to colder weather, they collapse inward and become useless. Doj't waste your money.
