My A/C seemed to not be cooling. I checked %26 my filter was filthy. I went online and got new ones that same day %26 replaced the filter. I bought extra so I can clear when needed again. I thought I would have trouble finding this size, but Walmart came through. Thanks

smashed a/c filter
well my a/c filter 18x30x1 was delivered but it was not in good condition the sides were smashed in plus the middle part as well like if something fell on top of it don't know weather it happened while been delivered or from where it came from i believe it was from De soto i did my best to make it work had to put tape on it

Filter Reinforcement On Wrong Side of Flow
Every filter I've ever had had the reinforcement on the side facing toward the air flow, inwards. Installing according to the flow arrow has this one with the reinforcement on the outside. As I suspected it would the filter was bowed inward, getting sucked in. For a Merv 5 this filter should have lasted a long time. It didn't.
