Buy the better quality Filtrete filters
This is one of the cheaper Filtrete filters that I'd only purchase in a pinch until I could get the better quality that collects smaller particles. I've only had this filter in for less than a month, and it's sunken in the middle. These filters are very easy to put in and take out with no assembly required. You only need to know the correct size you need. When putting in a clean filter, you can instantly notice a difference in the airflow. I date mine, so I know exactly when it's time to replace, and you can see all the dirt, hair, and particals it has collected. I change my filter every 3 months, sometimes sooner at different times of the year. Do this, and your home air will be cleaner and your unit will last much longer 😉
