Finding Nemo (Blu-ray), Walt Disney Video, Kids & Family

My grandchildren loved the movie. That is my rating for this DVD. It was for them. It pleased them. It played correctly. All thumbs up!

My wife's nieces loved it and they are only 2 & 4.

A tried and true original, Finding Nemo is the Pixar movie that I have watched the most. It is full of quotable moments and quips, and there's always a joke in this movie to keep the mood light. Dory's character is fresh (enough to make an entire sequel about her family), and this journey film has suspense waiting around every corner. Nemo may seem whiny at times throughout the movie, but I'm not quite sure what else to expect from a child who has been separated from his father. Also, Finding Nemo really highlights the great improvements Pixar has made in their animation software, as everything is boldly and colorfully detailed (just look at the light bouncing off of the water droplets). Every character, from Crush the Aussie sea turtle to each of the classic “MINE MINE MINE” seagulls, has a distinct personality that contributes to the overall plot. Once again, Pixar deserves applause for creating this absolute gem. I bought this movie (awhile ago-a good few years), since I have granddaughters over quite a bit and was thrilled with it when watching it in its entirety. This movie is action-packed and full of laughter, funny & warm, extremely entertaining in every way. It is very bold/vibrant in colour, the astonishing animation is top notch. True-to-life colourful characters, they are so lively and very memorable, their expressions and sayings are so very addictive. There are plenty of jokes thru-out the movie, to keep even the most distracted adults connected to the movie. This movie holds alot of joy and heart-warming times, (sad in the beginning,) but it will touch your heart the rest of the way thru. A great message to be learned from this movie. Dory is my favourite ("Just keep swimming!"), no maybe the seagulls ("mine, mine, mine!), no maybe the shark (the so-called vegetarian shark), heck they are all great! This a a movie both children and adults will enjoy, it is definitely one of a kind. You will want to watch this movie over again and again, so will the children. It is a classic or should I say a Masterpiece. I could go on and on some more, but I will stop and highly recommend Finding Nemo for anyone out there who has not had the pleasure of viewing it at all.

This movie is amazing and I'm so happy I was able to buy it to add it to my Disney collection. Will recommend buying 100%!
