Very strong for their size. I used them to hold up a torn headliner on an old car. They held the headliner to the metal roof even with half an inch of insulation between the two. I didn't use the screws of course.

These magnets are quite strong. My only complaint is that one out of the 4 already broke. The magnet inside the cup part cracked and started fragmenting. It still is usable but really?!
