These Finew walkie talkies are great for any team that needs to stay in touch. The set includes six radios, each with 16 channels, and a good range of up to 3 miles in open areas. The battery lasts a long time, and the set even comes with earpieces and charging docks. Unlike other budget radios, there is virtually no lag in the transmission. It's simple to use and works well for events, outdoor jobs, or just staying connected.

Baofeng radios are always a great value of price. Easily reaches 0.5 miles in dense residential setting with multiple (10~) brick and wood buildings blocking signal. Easy to operate. Speakers don't go terribly high, so depending on use may need higher quality rig. Would benefit from ability to modulate command volumes, they are quite loud (ex power on).

A charger, battery, belt clip and antenna for each radio. Great for hunting trips, travel, etc.. Excellent bargain here!

I bought these to use in the trailer park I live in. They get good reception and clear with no static or interference. I am going to buy another set.

The price was good. The range is not very good at all. The battery life is confusing. It doesn't seem to keep a hold of a charge for long. The instructions were a little lacking but overall it works good for a intercom with two homes that are right next to each other.

I got these for my mother, who has dementia, to be able to contact me quickly and not fumble with phone which makes her get more confused %26 anxious. Works great!

The walkies i received are Baofeng model BF-888S. I selected this product for the charging cradles and the CTCSS codes, but... The charging cradles themselves are fine, but the instruction manual warns against placing (or leaving?) the Li-ion batteries on their chargers when they're fully charged; this probably means you risk causing a fire if you store the radios in their cradles until you need them, which i think is what most people would want to do. And there's no battery indicator, so it's hard to know when charging is needed. I'd hoped to use the CTCSS privacy codes to filter out unwanted transmissions. The manual only explains what CTCSS is, NOT how to set it up! An internet search told me that in order to use this feature, one must BUY A CABLE and download software. Instructional videos i found online for programming the radios seemed to be aimed at users far more sophisticated than i, so i abandoned the idea. While i was trying to sort this out, i found a discussion on a two way radio forum that made me think these walkie-talkies might be using frequencies i'm not legally allowed to use without a license?!?! You should probably look into that before buying.

3.5 out of 5 stars. Its only got 16 channels and non of the channels will communicate with other brand of radios because of privacy codes. I went ahead and got the Baofeng F22 instead and was much happier.

The radio and accessories all are great. The range is where I would say lacks. The summary states good for cruises, however was never able to communicate further than a few feet outside the room door. Outside of a cruise ship maybe they work better, but after our cruise I didnt want to use them anymore.
