This screen is durable and weighs a good amount. The size is perfect for the size of my fireplace but it is made to just sit in front of those that already have doors on them. The design is nice and it will make for a nice display when the fireplace is not in use. Easy to assemble and place and it sits about half a foot away from the fireplace. It's pretty too.

Beautiful fireplace screen with double doors that give you complete access to the fireplace when opened. Handles are located a little higher than normal which guards against babies opening the doors. Longer piano hinges help stability in the doors as they are opened and closed, and magnets help maintain the tight fit when shut. Spark guard at the top adds an extra safety feature. Solid iron construction with a black powder coat finish so screen is not shiny. Heavy weight mesh screening completes the look. Scroll design mimics flower pedals. Front feet are decorative, but the inside back feet are adjustable so that screen fits in various size fireplaces. WE LOVE IT!! William

FireBeauty 35"x28" fireplace screen arrived quickly, was packed well, very simple to assemble.... just add the door handles, the two side feet and Center braces. looks really nice and seems sturdy and well made...perfect size and this design really lets the natural stone on my fireplace shine through! very pleased with this item

I am reviewing this fireplace cover. It's just beautiful. Very well made. I would recommend this item to anyone that needs a fireplace cover. Whether it be to update the style that the originally had. This really adds a extremely new updated look from my old cover which was plain i highly recommend this cover to anyone that is looking for a fireplace cover to update their surroundings in their area in the dining or living room space.

Actually much nicer than I expected for the price. Looks nice, works well, seems strong and well put together, and the little bit of assembly that was needed was very easy. Even had instructions that made sense. For sure, this is a lightweight fireplace screen, and made from tubular square stock, not solid steel. So if you regularly burn hot fires it will may not last for many years. But for me, with this fireplace converted to gas, it should last a long time.

One of my favorite features about this screen is it sets up on a strong and durable stand, meaning it doesn't require a permanent installation. In our case, one that has to be installed could damage the native stone in the fireplace. It also makes it a breeze to pull back and clean out the ashes and debris, instead of having to do it a scoop at a time through a door of an installed version. Being on legs/stand also allows the versatility to easily remove the screen off season and add decorative items like candles, floral displays for warmer seasons. This is a good purchase. I think you will be happy with it.
